Along with the AMS digging modes, which only give you power when you need it to keep down fuel consumption, we've also introduced a load sensed, flow on demand hydraulic system, which matches flow and pressure as required, maximising performance and saving fuel. This system also features an anti-stall function so the engine won't cut out, however tough the going gets.
A strong undercarriage supports versatility that's designed for maximum protection against site damage.
RELIABILITY AND DURABILITY
The 8080 is fitted with the Isuzu A-4JG1, 4 cylinder diesel engine and has a maximum power output of 44kw (58hp). It is extremely fuel efficient, quiet and conforms to the latest, Tier II engine emissions standards.
2 speed track motors (controlled manually or automatically) and the hoses are completely enclosed within the undercarriage protecting them against damage.
An auto kickdown facility changes from high to low speed according to the ground conditions.
SAFETY
ROPS (Roll Over Protection Structure) and TOPS (Tip Over Protection Structure) Certified Cab / Canopy, with the added option of FOGS (Falling Object Guard Structure) Guard level 1 and 2.
Seat belt fitted as standard.
For ultimate safety when entering or leaving the cab, lifting of the isolator lever disables all functions including excavator servo controls, track levers and auxiliary pedals.
OPERATOR ENVIRONMENT
Spacious and stylish cab improves operator visibility and comfort and also has aesthetically appealing looks. Cab has been tested to TOPS Standards with normally only applies to excavators under 6000kg.
AMS (Advanced Management System) fitted as standard, this gives a graphical display of fuel level, engine water and hydraulic oil temperatures, in addition to audio visual warnings and function selection. The unit also controls the work mode and one touch idle facility.
Integral air conditioning fitted as standard provides for a more productive operator environment.
SERVICEABILITY
Service access on the machine is unmatched, the twin opening bonnet arrangement offering easy access to both the side mounted engine and rear mounted hydraulic components.
