The The JS210 New Generation is unique in its class - no one but JCB produces a machine offering such impressive overside lift capacity with an overall width less than 2.9m on 700mm shoes.

  POWER & CONTROL
The 102KW engine meeting stage 2 emissions standards is powerful and reliable.
Four different work modes can be selected to maximise productivity, fuel economy and control by matching the machine's output to the operating conditions. Auto Mode (A) constantly senses the hydraulic requirements and adjusts engine and hydraulic power accordingly. Economy Mode (E) is for general excavating and loading; Fine Mode (F) is for precise, lighter duty finishing work; Lifting Mode (L) is for operations needing fingertip accuracy including lifting, with extra pressure available for jobs such as trench box/shuttering extracting.

AMS Auto mode automatically adjusts to give the power when needed. Excellent controllability ensures smooth operation while multi functioning.Joystick mounted track gear selection makes changing speed easier.
The 'Cushion Control' feature reduces shock to the operator as well as to the dipper and boom during excavator operations. This is in addition to the standard ram end damping. Cushion control also incorporates a heater circuit to speed up servo system warm up for improved control following machine start up.

The multi-function hydraulic system allows simultaneous smooth control of all excavator functions. It also ensures straight line tracking at all times, whether other functions are being used or not.
OPERATOR ENVIRONMENT
Large glass areas mean excellent visibility especially low down to the operator's left or right, and to the rear of the machine over the low bonnet line and rounded counterweight. The front screen is also fitted with intermittent wash/wipe as standard.
The display monitor is mounted tight against the front pillar allowing the operator to monitor the information while maximising the visibility of the bucket or attachment. The large roof light gives a clear view of the raised attachment and any overhead obstacles.

No cab offers greater comfort. It's spacious and well appointed. And it's mounted on 6 fluid filled resilient mountings which insulate against noise and vibration while minimising movement when tracking over rough ground. With the comfortable and adjustable seat, the operator will find it easy to find the best position in relation to the controls. Both the seat and control console can be adjusted independently. The seat and control console can then be moved in unison for cockpit style adjustment. The seat can fully recline.

Ventilation is exceptional with large opening door windows and a spring-assisted opening front window. Fan-assisted fresh air ventilation takes over when the doors and windows need to be closed. And for total in-cab temperature and fan speed control, there's a fresh air/recycle heater and demister. Air conditioning is available as an option. wide door, together with conveniently positioned grab rails, means easy cab entry. Numerous features are fitted to enhance comfort such as a digital radio/cassette player, cigarette lighter, ashtray, clock and storage box.
Instrumentation is very user-friendly. One touch switches are covered with a membrane for easy cleaning and are back-lit for night working. Written information on the machine's vital functions is transmitted via the illuminated LCD monitor in any of 12 European languages. Contrast control ensures that the monitor can be easily read whatever the light.
RELIABILITY / ECONOMY
Undercarriage side frames slope for easy cleaning. Large cut outs reduce dirt build-up beneath the top rollers.
Proven Japanese components give long life and reliability.
IP69 electrical connectors in the pump and engine bay protect against site and pressure washer damage.
500 hour engine oil and filter changes, twice as long as many machines ensures very clean oil for long engine life and low maintenance.

The unique JCB Plexus filter cleans the hydraulic oil down to 1.5 microns. This extra fine hydraulic fluid filtration unit dramatically cuts down on dirt and condensation in the system - often a reason for machine faults. Consequently, servicing intervals will increase, downtime will reduce and overall machine reliability will be enhanced. What's more, hydraulic components will enjoy a longer working life while the oil itself will last 5,000 hours.
INTELLIGENCE
An auxiliary hydraulic service spool is fitted as standard along with auxiliary pipework mounting brackets on the boom and dipper, for high flow, low flow and quick hitch instalations.
The ultimate in engine speed control is provided by the rotary throttle and combined one-touch, auto-idle system. The one-touch idle button, positioned on the servo lever, gives instant manual control while the auto-idle cuts in automatically when the machine is not actively used. (Depending upon operator preference, it can be programmed to wait 1-30 seconds before dropping to idle.

Heavy Mode (H) is for heavy digging and loading jobs; Standard Mode (S) is for general excavating and loading; Light Mode (L) is for precise, lighter duty finishing work; Fine Mode (F) is for operations needing fingertip accuracy including lifting, with extra pressure available for jobs such as trench box/shuttering extracting.
