LONG-LIFE RELIABILITY
The JCB Plexus filter cleans the hydraulic oil down to 1.5 microns, dramatically cutting down on dirt and condensation in the system. The oil also goes 5,000 hours between changes. Consequently, servicing intervals are increased, downtime is reduced and overall machine reliability enhanced.
. 500 hour engine oil and filter changes, twice as long as many machines, are achieved by the combination of two large oil filters - one full flow, the second a fine by-pass filter - which reduce servicing requirements, inconvenience and downtime.
The 'X' frame type undercarriage is integrally welded for strength and durability, and has excellent ground clearance. Underbelly guarding provides added protection for arduous sites.
In the unlikely event of a system malfunction, a built-in self-diagnostic facility enables rapid fault identification. To eliminate downtime with an electronic malfunction, a fall back-up system can be operator activated.
SUPERB COMFORT
A very comfortable, high quality steel cab is mounted on 6 fluid filled resilient mountings which insulate against noise and vibration while minimising movement when tracking over rough ground. The large glass area means excellent visibility even low to the operator's left or right, and over the rear bonnet line and rounded counterweight.
With the fully adjustable suspension seat, short stroke servo levers and lightweight track controls, the operator will find the JS130 easy and comfortable to operate.
Ventilation is exceptional with large opening door windows, a spring-assisted opening front window. The standard large capacity heater and demister can be combined with optional air conditioning for total in-cab temperature control.
Numerous features are fitted to enhance comfort such as a digital radio/cassette player, cigarette lighter, clock and storage area.
The 'Cushion Control' feature reduces shock to the operator as well as to the dipper and boom during excavator operations. A heater circuit is incorporated to speed up servo system warm up for improved control following machine start up.
HIGH PERFORMANCE
The short 2.05m tail swing and the big load over height mean the JS130 is perfect for tasks such as loading high sided trucks in confined areas.
The Isuzu turbocharged clean burn engine meets current European and North American low emission requirements, whilst providing smooth, reliable performance. Its in-line, direct injection fuel system delivers long-term, high combustion efficiency for low fuel consumption.
Automatic pre-heat glow plugs mean first-time starting whatever the climate. And with automatic warm-up, the engine avoids unnecessary wear during start-up in cold climates. For hotter, dusty environments, a large open matrix radiator is fitted with fine mesh protection.
For optimum efficiency and ease of control, the new Advanced Management System (AMS) constantly monitors operating functions. Heavy mode (H) is for heavy digging and loading jobs; Standard Mode (S) is for general excavating and loading; Light Mode (L) is for precise, lighter duty finishing work; Fine Mode (F) is for operations needing fingertip accuracy with extra pressure available for lifting.
An instant 10% power boost is available with the touch of a button for hard dig conditions while fast ram speeds reduce cycle times.
Three travel speeds can be selected; 5.5km/h, 3.8km/h and a particularly useful slow speed of 2.3km/h. Auto shift instantly matches speed to ground conditions to prevent track stall for ease of use and enhanced site mobility |
